Makeup Tutorial

Note: Feel free to use different makeup products or change the steps up a bit. This is just what works best for me.

This is my everyday makeup look. I tend to get lazy in the mornings so my makeup look is super easy and simple. It's not really the best way to put makeup on, there's definitely better techniques but those take more time and I don't have the patience. Enjoy!

Moisturize!!! Moisturizing is very important!!! I used to never put lotion on my face but I was tired of having dry skin so I started putting on moisturizer. The one I use is by CeraVe and it's specifically for drier skin.

Eyebrows. I love doing my right eyebrow, I hate doing the left one. My right eyebrow is just the nicer
looking one and I just love my right eyebrow.
  1. I use The Nubian pallet by Juvia's place and I use the darkest shade to color in my eyebrows. I used to use an actual brow pencil but once that ran out I never bought a new one so I started using an eye shadow.
  2. I draw a line on the top of my eyebrow then on the bottom. I then just fill in my eyebrow on any patches I see. For the front of the eyebrow I use what's leftover on the eyebrow brush and just fill it in. I do this so my eyebrow isn't to dark in the front and so it looks more blended. Then taking a spoolie, I just comb through my eyebrows and blend out any harsh spots.
  3. To clean up my eyebrows I use the Fit Me foundation by Maybelline in the color 235 Pure Beige. It's to light for my skin so I use it as a concealer and my actual concealer is to light for
  4. my skin too so I just never use it. Using a very small and flat eyebrow brush I use a very little amount of the foundation and clean up my eyebrows. I draw a line with it at the top and bottom of my eyebrows where I want my eyebrows to end.
Under Eyes.
  1. For my eyelids and under eyes I use a small amount of the foundation again and use it like I would with any concealer. I use my fingers for this step,I found that it just works better than a brush or beauty blender.
  2. I usually use either my contour  brush by E.L.F or my buffing brush by Ecotools to bake under my eyes. The loose powder I use is by Cover FX.
Eyes.
  1. I usually swipe it off right before I put on highlighter.
  2. Using The Nubian again, and taking one of the shades in the second row, I use my finger and put that on my lid up to the crease.
  3. For mascara I use the Voluminous Lash Paradise by L'Oreal. I have the waterproof one because apparently I can't read. I suggest just getting the regular one because waterproof sucks to take off.
  4. Taking a different small, flat eye shadow brush, I either use the top right shadow in the pallet or I use a highlighter. The highlighter I use is by Fenty Beauty and it's the Killawatt Freestyle highlighter duo. I use a mixture of both sides.
Everything else.
  1. I take the opposite brush that I didn't use and swipe away the leftover powder under my eyes.
  2. I use that Killawatt highlighter from before and add some to my nose and to the tops of my cheeks.
  3. Lastly, I add some chapstick and then I'm done!
I hope you enjoyed my everyday makeup look!

Intro to Iman Ayad

This was taken year with Ayad's roommates. Iman Hesham Ayad is currently a Freshman at Concordia University. She was on March 16, 2000 in Oregon. She grew up in Beaverton her whole life and has lived in the same house for 13 years. She lives with her Mom, Araceli F Ayad and her older sister Nabila. Her other sister, Elia, lives in an apartment with her husband Aaron and her 2 and a half year-old son Oliver. Her dad passed away when she was thirteen. Her mom is Mexican and her dad was Egyptian, so she got the best of both worlds by growing up in two different cultures. As she grew older she gained and lost a lot of friends and has finally found a couple of good ones to stick by. Her best friend Christian is 17 and is currently doing online school for college. He’s her rock, she tells him everything. Lily is another close friend and is 17 as well but is now a Senior in high school. She’s very kind and very down to earth. This is Iman in Egypt in 2017. Sam Smith!!!!

It was around four o’clock on Friday and a few of us were sitting in the lounge in the Lizzy dorm. Out of nowhere an RA mentions that he’s going to go to a Sam Smith concert in a few hours. I mention that I really wanted to go but just never bought tickets. He informs me that there are some being sold for just $20. For it to be at the Moda Center and that it was Sam Smith I couldn’t pass that up. So i message my friend Holland and ask her if she wants to go to the concert with me. Two hours and 40 minutes later, Holland and I are walking to the bus stop on our way to see Sam Smith. Now, what I didn’t know was how obsessed with Sam Smith Holland was. I’ve never seen her so excited and happy. About 30 to 40 minutes we finally arrive at the Moda Center. We take some pictures and since Hollands not from Oregon she wanted all the tourist type pictures. We enter the building and the first thing we do is go to the merchandise line because those are always takes up the most amount of time
